The Dale room featured a hot tub. This was within a lovely woodland setting. The room was cozy and clean. The location was fine.
I found an abandoned cabin at the back. It contained old furniture and rubbish.

the staff were friendly in reception, the restaurant, and the bar. i had a walk around the lake. i also had a coffee in the garden bar. all the staff i encountered were friendly.
the lodge needed refurbishment. i stayed in a lot of hotels at a similar price point. i was shocked when i opened the door to this one. the bathroom was dated, and the shower was just a dribble.

i enjoyed the woodland cabin standard. the room was clean and tidy and had a cool vibe. the woodland setting. it felt very calm.
The room was quite hot. I had to sleep with the door open. the main door didn't close properly, so anyone could push it open.

the grounds and walking areas near the hotel are great. there are nice views of the woodland and lake. the location provides a relaxing atmosphere for visitors.

I appreciated the friendly staff team, from the reception to the restaurant. They were very helpful. the food was excellent for both dinner and the great breakfast spread. location was ideal for my trip, with access to nearby attractions.
